I am extremely happy with the Presto Pressure Cooker. I am amazed at the improvements in the cooker from my Mother's old one. I had given up on this method of cooking until I finally tried this unit. It is easy, fast and the food is awesome. My only complaint is that it would have been nice if at least a small cook book had been provided with the cooker. The Presto cook book we bought was grossly inadequate. However, I still enjoy using the pressure cooker and would recommend it to everyone.

Rubber feet make this colander even better than I had hoped. It stays put on my counter top, is easy to clean,
drains well, and the rubber-coated handles make it easy to hang on to when emptying.
Well worth the money spent - very happy and satisfied with my purchase.

Review (rating: 2):
I like the design of this collander (it has a fairly large, round base that is less likely to tip over), and it seems to be reasonably well made. However, what is sold as the "large" size is actually quite small. The inside diameter of the bowl is just over 9" and, even more problematic, the bowl is well less than 4" deep (i.e., quite shallow.) Thus, the capacity of the collander is actually very limited and it can be characterized as large only relative to the other two that Amazon sells, which must be quite tiny. Be forewarned.

I was looking for a strainer that would keep quinoa from falling through. This one is perfect. Other reviewers said it was good for quinoa.
That was a deciding factor for me. So thanks to the people who thought to mention it. This strainer is well made and seems sturdy. I'm very pleased.

This replaces a small strainer we've had for...ahem, many years. What a difference. The very fine mesh does a much better job of straining. And, because it's a little wider, it doesn't fall into my Pyrex measuring cup all the time. Don't know why I didn't get this sooner.

This basket is perfect for blanching of vegetables for the freezer. Well made stanless steel with soft handle. I needed a deeper basket than the standard ones only about 3-4 inches deep. This one is perfect.

I was hoping for a strainer that would work for washing rice. It does alright, but as stated before, it is pretty flimsy. The holes are also bigger than I'd hoped; the long grain white rice we use gets stuck in the strainer. It's also somewhat a pain to wash by hand; we accidentally got some cheddar cheese stuck in it, and it took five minutes to get out. However, it does do the job, and the over-the-sink option is great. We washed cherries in it, and it was perfect for that, as it would be for other larger items. I'll definitely continue to use it, but it wasn't everything I had hoped for.

I have a lot of Oxo gear in my kitchen because it's a brand you can (almost) always rely on to be best in it's class...great build quality, great performance, great design. This colander gets two out of three. It's sturdy, it drains well, the rubberized rim is convenient for lifting. My beef with the thing, and the part that drives me CRAZY every time I use it is the design of the little peg feet. It's terrible. Even though they're supposed to be 'non skid', in my stainless steel sink, it slides around a puppy on ice. On top of that, the feet are SO SHORT than when you pour your, for example, pot of pasta and water, into the thing, the water doesn't go down the drain fast enough and ends up getting 'backed up' onto the pasta sitting in the colander. Can you say "unsanitary!"? There needs to be more space between the b...

I was disappointed in the slicer included in this set. It slices the berries too thin - makes them mushy unless you consume them right away. The huller works well, and the colander is cute. But the slicer is not useful for my purp...

This is great for LARGE pasta... not for angelhair pasta. It slips through the slits and it's very hard to get our- creates a big mess!

This works perfectly for straining my homemade yogurt. With it, I can make a full quart of Greek yogurt, saving me much valuable time. It cleans perfectly in the dishwasher, but the sprayer on my sink works well to clean it, too.
