There were several good recipes and it was difficult to choose.

We asked for your best ground beef recipes. Contestants were not and sent some great recipes for the chance to grab a copy of the winner book in the category for bread, other baking and sweet in the IACP cookbook awards.

We are asked for crock pot chicken recipes or slow cooker. Chicken is versatile an can be prepared in countless ways, however slow cooking in the crock pot allows complex food flavors to develop, apart from preventing any burning, impossible to achieve with other cooking methods.

We asked participants to send a recipe for their best dessert with a picture of the finished recipe for your chance to win one of the prizes.

The prize for the Mushroom Creative Recipe Competition has been awarded to Adrianna, from Missouri, for her mushroom sauce meatballs with mashed sweet potatoes.

Between bread slice and bread slice... roasted turkey, cranberry sauce, baby leaf lettuce, crunchy bacon, sage stuffing, and a touch of mayonnaise. Those are the ingredients of the Holiday Turkey Sandwich that made Liza, from Hampshire, into a competition winner. Liza used cranberry white loaf to sandwich all those goodies.
