Apple-Cinnamon Granola Bread

1 lb or 1 1/2 lb loafes
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 Tbs butter or margarine
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 3/4 cup bread flour
  • 1/2 cup granola
  • 1/4 cup non-fat dry milk
  • 1 Tbs packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 1/4 tsp active dry yeast

1 - 1/2 pound loaf

  • 1 cup Water
  • 1/2 cup Unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 Tbs Butter or margarine
  • 3/4 tsp Salt
  • 2 1/4 cup Whole wheat flour
  • 1 1/4 cup Bread flour
  • 3/4 cup Granola
  • 1/3 cup Nonfat dry milk
  • 4 tsp Packed brown sugar
  • 3/4 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 tsp Active dry yeast
Methods/steps

Add the ingredients the to bread machine pan in the order the manufacturer suggests and set it to work.

Additional Tips

Add the applesauce with the water.

Add the granola with flour and other dry ingredients.

If the dough is too dry or stiff, or too soft or slack, adjust consistency by adding a little more liquid ingredients or a little more of the dry ones.
