Garlic Mushrooms on Toast Recipe

Garlic Mushrooms on Toast Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 Tbs butter
- 2 tsp vegetable oil
- 2 oz open cup mushrooms
- 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
- 4 fl oz oz white wine
- 2 Tbs double cream
- 1 Tbs parsley, chopped
- 2 slices bread, thick sliced
- olive oil, for drizzling
Methods/steps
- Place the butter and oil together into a small frying pan. When butter just foams, add the mushrooms and the garlic. Sauté for 2-3 minutes.
- Pour in the white wine and reduce for 1 -2 full minutes.
Combine with the cream. Sprinkle with parsley to finish.
Heat a griddle or heavy skillet. Toast the slices of bread, drizzling with the olive oil, until you achieve a nice golden color. - Top the toast with the garlic and mushroom mixture.
