Apple and Onion Stuffing

Description

Seasonal stuffing helps to vary the flavor of any roast. Apple and onion stuffing is a perfect choice for the colder months.

Ingredients

onions (chopped)
1 1⁄2 t
butter
3⁄4 c
bread crumbs (fresh, white)
2  
apples (peeled, cored and chopped)
2 T
parsley (fresh parsley, finely chopped)
1  
egg (beaten)
1⁄4 c
chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Heat butter in a pan and cook the onions until soft but not brown. Allow to cool.
  2. Stir in the rest of the ingredients.
  3. Season to taste.
